Revolution, Evolution, Ovulation… Whatever!
I’ve been thru many revolutions to become what I am now. The changing was dramatic, sometimes ridiculous and tragic. Yet, I enjoyed them so much.
There was a time when I wanted to have a pierce as a nut-vent kinda way, just want to feel how much sting of pain I could endure. I put an ice cube and felt the small part above my chin became numb, blocking all sensation, making it senseless. I stuck a candle-burned, alcohol-dipped needle at the right spot, thrust it deeper and deeper with the strength I had left for nervousness had been sucking out my power. Adrenaline pumped fast and my heart was pounding. The face in the mirror before me showed no doubt. The eyes said "Do it. Feel it." My hands shivered because of the excitement and self-justification. It seemed right. It felt right. When the flesh had been penetrated and my gum felt the sharp point, I bent the needle upward as hard as I could and making it blunt with nail filer.
The effect was superb. I was mighty! I’ve been in this much agony, I could take some more. It’s not that I’m insane or anything, but I love that blinding ache. It made me strong, unbeatable. Even more, I love the healing process. I can feel the tiny, cold steel against my inner lip, preventing the flesh to close the wound and made a cute little hole two weeks after.
Self-tortured-attention-seeker, am I? Nah. Cuma ngetes nyali. Gwa paling takut sakit, dan saat itu sangat tepat untuk merasakannya. Dan gwa ngerasainnya lagi kemarin. Dua jam penuh gwa dan si cantik-pintar-lugu-tapi-galak berjuang untuk mendapatkan hasil yang gwa inginkan dengan media rambut di kepala yang sudah menggondrong. Berbekal gunting, pencukur kumis dan cermin kami mulai ritual itu.
Bagaimana setelah semuanya selesai? Katanya gwa jadi mirip hantu. Kata yang lain, gwa hilang feminin sama sekali. Komentar partner kerja gwa sendiri: mirip The Last of The Mohican! Padahal masih lebih manis gwa la daripada si Unca!
Hahaha!!! Gwa adalah skinhead yang menyamar dibalik gondrong seleher yang terurai!
